Key Responsibilities:

Food Prep:

• wash, chop, prepare, slice, and dice

• grill, fry, boil, sautee, and bake

Cleaning and Maintenance:

• Clean dishes, cookware, and utensils

• Maintain a clean and presentable appearance, clean hands

• Keep workstations and all kitchen areas clean

• Sanitize and clean equipment before and after using

Food Safety, Quality, and Presentation:

• Be knowledgeable on all food safety and sanitation regulations

• Prepare food to Calapooia brewpub’s high standards

• Manage serving temperatures and portion sizes

• Serve/deliver food to patrons

Team Work Makes the Dream Work:

• Communicate effectively both on “the line” and in general

• Willingness to work most shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Food Handlers Card

• Ability to stand for whole shifts

• Lift up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to follow recipes and specific directions

Compensation:

• $16.25 Hourly Rate to start, with a $.50 raise at 6 months

POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Calapooia Brewing + Vivacity Spirits Brand Ambassador, your primary role will be to increase brand awareness and sales by promoting our products through face-to-face demonstrations and by engaging the public with samples at a variety of events. To succeed in this role, you will be friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing with excellent communication and networking skills. Previous experience as a brand ambassador or similar role is strongly desired, as well as knowledge of sales and marketing principles.

A brand ambassador should be familiar with and endorse both our brands prior to hire. You will work closely with our sales and marketing team to further develop your knowledge of our brand to communicate the value of the products to the public and achieve marketing goals and sales objectives.

The candidate will most likely need to transport materials to and from events and thus should have their own form of reliable transportation as well as be able to lift up to 50 lb. The position is part time, often including weekend and evening hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Familiarizing yourself with the mission, vision, and goals of our brands.

• Working closely with the sales and marketing team to learn how to educate customers & retailers about our products.

• Engaging with the public through building rapport and generating brand awareness through word of mouth marketing.

• Representing the brand with a positive image at all times at events including, but not limited to product tastings at liquor stores, bars and restaurants, product launches, trade shows and other large-scale festival events.

• Setting up a tasteful and engaging booth display to highlight our products at various events.

• Handling cash and card payments systems and tracking sales during events.

• Participate in event marketing by assisting in content creation for social media and other promotions to drive brand awareness and attract new customers.

• Provide feedback and insight on executed events and on new products/service launches.

Candidate Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required. Some College education preferred, in marketing or a related field.

• Must be 21+

• Required to have a valid Oregon Driver's License, clean driving record, and proof of current auto insurance

• Must have reliable transportation to and from events with the ability to transport event materials.

• Valid OLCC Alcohol Service Permit, or able to attain one

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Must be able to set up and tear down booths, displays, etc.

• Ability to work both independently and alongside other team members.

• Ability to work a variable schedule, often including evenings and weekends

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Friendly, approachable, and outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills.

• Passion for and knowledge of craft beverage styles, production, mixology, and the local brewing/distilling community.

• Comfortable with technology and mobile applications, with a working knowledge of events, social media platforms and tools.
